BOEOTIA. Thebes. Circa 395-338 BC. Stater (Silver, 25 mm, 12.31 g), Damo..., magistrate, circa 390-382. Boeotian shield. Rev. ΔΑ-ΜΩ Amphora with ivy branch hanging from left handle; above, club; all within shallow incuse. BCD Boiotia 490. BMC 127. Hepworth 21. SNG Copenhagen 324. Beautifully toned, a very attractive piece. Small die breaks on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
